October Partnership

In August, we received a message from a follower regarding a potential pregnancy center partnership. The center is located in Yadkinville, North Carolina, and is committed to helping women in need. After looking into their mission and what they do, we decided they would be perfect recipients for our donation for the month of October! 

Compassion Care Center is a non-profit pregnancy resource center dedicated to supporting women and families with care, compassion, and hope. They offer free and confidential services including online prenatal, parenting, and life skills classes, biblical counseling, and lactation support. Clients can earn points through class participation to shop in their Mom and Baby Boutique, which provides essential baby items and material assistance. Through their Bloom Women’s Clinic at 117 Jefferson St., they provide pregnancy testing, limited OB/GYN ultrasounds, STD testing and treatment, abortion pill reversal, and prenatal care up to 20 weeks. They also offer post-abortion support groups and help connect clients with additional local resources.

North Carolina is one of the states in our union that still offers legal abortions. In North Carolina, most abortions are banned after the 12th week of pregnancy, but they have exceptions. In the event of rape or incest, abortion is legal up until the 20th week of pregnancy. In the event of a life-limiting fetal anomaly, abortion is legal up until the 24th week of pregnancy. Being able to help a pregnancy center in a place where many people flood into the state for abortions (due to tighter restrictions in their neighboring home state) is huge! We are so excited to be able to give them 10% of all of our sales for the month of October! We believe in what they are doing, and we are so grateful for all the work that they are doing to help women and the unborn! Let’s save some babies, and help this pregnancy center provide these women with what they need! 💙
